Valve bodies, manifolds, injector plates. Cryogenic-rated 316L welded assemblies for LOX/LH2 test rigs.

Flight control components

Tol ±0.01 mm

Actuator housings, linkage bodies, hinge pins. 5-axis machined Ti Gr.5 with CMM reports and NDT certification.

Turbine & hot section

Inc 625/718 · CoCr

Turbine blade test articles, vane prototypes, combustor liners. DMLS printed + HIP + CNC finished to flight tolerances.

Ground support equipment

6061 · 4140

Tooling, fixtures, transport stands. Sheet-metal GSE with powder coat, welded frames, PEM-insert hardware.

Test rig components

Low-vol, fast

Custom one-off test fixtures, data acquisition mounts, wind tunnel adapters. Fast-turn CNC in 5–7 days.

Cabin & interior

FST compliant

Flame-smoke-toxicity compliant plastics (PEEK, Ultem) machined for cabin interiors, overhead bins, monument hardware.

03 · Quality

Documentation that audits.

Every aerospace order ships with the paperwork your prime expects. Full traceability from raw-material heat number to the packing list.

AS9102 First Article Inspection

Forms 1, 2 and 3 with bubble-drawing, measured values, material verification, and special process certifications. CMM-generated reports with deviation maps.

EN 10204 3.1 Mill Certificates

Every metal batch accompanied by certified chemical composition and mechanical properties from the raw-material mill. Lot numbers traceable through production.

Configuration Management

Drawing revisions tracked. Non-conforming parts quarantined. Corrective actions documented. Change notices flow through customer approval before production.

In-Process Inspection

First-piece approved before batch release. In-process CMM every 5th part on precision jobs. Final lot inspection per AQL sampling or 100% as specified.

Special Process Outsourcing

Heat treatment (AMS 2770/2771), anodize (MIL-A-8625), chem conversion (MIL-DTL-5541), NDT (penetrant, MT, X-ray) through NADCAP-approved partners with certs on file.

Packaging & Shipping

Aerospace-grade packaging per MIL-STD-129. ESD-sensitive parts in anti-static. Moisture-sensitive parts vacuum-packed with desiccant. DHL/FedEx Priority worldwide.

FAQ

Aerospace questions.

Yes. CIFProto is registered with the U.S. State Department under ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) for defense-related manufacturing. We operate controlled-access workflows for ITAR-classified projects, with segregated data handling and need-to-know personnel protocols.
We operate under AS9100-aligned workflows throughout our aerospace projects, including configuration management, first-article inspection (FAI) per AS9102, non-conformance tracking, corrective action procedures, and supplier quality monitoring. Full AS9100D certification audit-ready on request.
Aluminum: 6061-T6, 7075-T6, 2024-T3, 7050-T7451. Titanium: Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), Grade 23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI). Superalloys: Inconel 625, Inconel 718, Hastelloy. Stainless: 15-5 PH, 17-4 PH, PH 13-8 Mo. All with EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates and lot-level traceability.
Yes. First Article Inspection reports conforming to AS9102 Rev B format, including Forms 1, 2 and 3, bubble-drawings, measured values, material verification, and special process certifications, are standard on aerospace orders. CMM-generated dimensional reports with deviation maps included.
Yes. Our parts have been qualified into flight-critical subsystems including UAV airframes, satellite optical structures, rocket propulsion test articles, fuel system components, and flight control brackets. Reference customers available on request after NDA.
Heat treatment (solution, aging, stress relief) per AMS specifications through certified partners. Chemical conversion coatings (Type I/II anodize per MIL-A-8625, chromate conversion per MIL-DTL-5541). NDT inspection (dye penetrant, magnetic particle, X-ray) through NADCAP-approved partners. Anodized finishes to AAMA 611 standards.
Mutual NDAs signed before CAD review on request. ITAR-classified projects use segregated data systems with access restricted to cleared U.S.-vetted personnel via our US liaison. All CAD data encrypted at rest and in transit. Customer IP and tooling remain exclusively the customer's property.
