FAQ

Canada customer questions.

DHL Priority: 4 days to any major Canadian city regardless of east/west. Wuxi → LAX or Anchorage → Canadian city. Vancouver and Toronto actually see similar transit times because the Pacific crossing dominates. For remote locations (Yukon, Nunavut, remote BC/NWT), add 1–2 days for last-mile delivery.
CUSMA primarily affects US-Canada-Mexico trade; goods manufactured in China don't qualify for CUSMA preferential treatment. Shipments from China to Canada use standard Most Favored Nation (MFN) duty rates. Our commercial invoices include correct country of origin (China), HS codes, and CUSMA-compatible formatting. Your broker handles customs entry.
Yes — we have a bilingual customer coordinator who handles Quebec RFQs and correspondence in French. Technical drawings and specifications accepted in French. Quote responses can be provided in French on request. For complex technical discussions, we may use English as a common language with translation support.
Most machined parts fall under HS 8487 (general machinery parts) or 8466 (specific machine parts) — duty rates 0–6.5% depending on exact HS classification. 5% GST applies federally; HST (13–15%) in HST provinces (Ontario, Maritimes) or GST + PST in others. GST/HST reclaimable by registered businesses through standard CRA process.
Yes — Alberta oil sands Tier-2 suppliers are a regular customer base. We understand NACE MR0175 sour-service requirements, API-adjacent documentation needs, and the material specifications common in Alberta operations (Inconel 718, 17-4 PH H1150, duplex 2205). API monogram requirements routed through qualified subcontracting partners.
Typical total lead time from PO to Canadian doorstep: 8–14 days. Breakdown: 5–10 days manufacturing, 1–2 days preparation and shipping, 4 days DHL Priority transit. Customs clearance usually same-day for straightforward shipments. For expedited orders, rush service (additional 50% cost) cuts manufacturing to 2–3 days — total door-to-door 6–8 days.
